Sense vs. Sound — Listening Party & Panel Discussion

Program partner: Fonograf Editions

Panelists Charles Valle, Rae Armantrout, and Endi Bogue Hartigan will discuss the importance of music in poetry, with Fonograf Editions editors Jeff Alessandrelli and Adie B. Steckel serving as moderators. The program will include a short listening party, featuring vinyl recordings of well-known and not so well known poets.

The Portland Poetry Confluence is on October 3rd and 4th. This is an independent festival bringing together poets and audiences from the PNW and beyond. The PPC is dedicated to extending the opportunities and pleasures of petty beyond the usual venues and formats, fostering exchange among diverse communities and celebrating the vibrant literary communities of Portland.
